Question : Maria designs flags and banners. She always makes a flag proportional to the flagpole it hangs from. If one flag is 6 feet wide and its pole is 24 ft long, how wide would a flag with a 20-foot pole be? By proportion method :
Solution :
6/24 = ?/20
6/24 x 20 = 5ft long width of the flag
